Dear Workplace,

I know we have to come back soon, but I have to confess; I’m a little worried. I haven’t been sleeping very well. I think it’s because returning to you seems scary.

It’s so much pressure. My job as HR is to keep everyone at work safe and happy. Our employees and managers, my friends. It feels like everyone is looking to me for answers – I’m supposed to know what we should do.

And there are new rules now, so I have to draft new policies, then distribute them…

But what if employees don’t see the new policies?
And what if employees don’t undergo suitable checks before returning?
Then what if someone comes in with symptoms?

There’s just so much to think about. I think I need some employee feedback. So I can make sure everyone feels comfortable during the transition. To make sure we’re getting it right.

My beloved workplace, do you have any suggestions?

With love,
HR
